The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) will hold grassroots elections on April 27, 2024.
The party has also scheduled a NEC meeting on April 11, to ratify the National Steering Committee which will oversee the exercise.
On April 29, ODM will hold grassroots elections in Kajiado, Migori, and Wajir counties.
The polls will close on April 30 in Kisii, Vihiga, and Murang'a counties.
ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna stated that the dates for other counties will be announced after reviewing the results of the previous exercise.
While announcing the decision of the party's central committee, Sifuna stated that the party's governing council will determine the mode of elections.
At the same time, ODM has called for the resignation of United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party officials who are currently employed in the civil service.
The party claimed that appointing civil servants to party positions would return the country to the dark days of the KANU regime.
