President William Ruto's deputy aide-de-camp has been replaced after less than two years in office.According to people familiar with the matter, Lieutenant Colonel Joan Osweto has taken over for Colonel Damaris Agnetta Apondi, who has been assigned to other military duties.
Colonel Osweto was first seen on duty on Thursday at the Sagana State Lodge in Nyeri County, where President Ruto was attending the winners' state concert for the National Drama and Film Festival.
She deputises President Ruto's aide-de-camp, Colonel Fabian Lengusuranga.
