Allan Ochieng alias Hype Ballo was yesterday charged at Kiambu High Court with the murder of Felix Kelian Kintosi, a DCI officer attached to DCI Dagoretti.
Allan Ochieng denied all the charges leveled against him.
However, ODPP through prosecution counsel Jenifer Ndeda filed an application for his detention pending the completion of a social inquiry report by Probation officers.
Lady Justice Dorah Chepkwony allowed the prosecution's application and remanded the accused person for 7 more days at Nairobi remand prison.
He was arrested alongside 6 others, including Dj Joe Mfalme, in connection with the murder of Felix Kintosi.
The other 6 were later released and converted into prosecution witnesses.
The hearing for bail/ bond application is scheduled for 02/05/2024.
