2 'Mchele babes' Charged with Drugging, Robbing Man In Loresho

 


Two Mchele babes have been charged for stupefying a man at Loresho Estate in Nairobi and stealing his belongings.


Mercy Kalondu Muli and Catherine Kathure Murithi were arraigned at Milimani Law Courts in Nairobi facing charges of stupefying with the aim of overpowering a man contrary to section 230 of the Penal Code.


According to the prosecution, the two ladies on February 4, 2024 at Loresho Estate in Nairobi, administered a stupefying drug to Denis Aluda Jiseve with the aim of overpowering and stealing from him.


After administering the overpowering drug, the two ladies are said to have proceeded to steal two HP Laptops, one mobile phone make Samsung A53, and Money from Mpesa and Stanbic bank account all totaling to Sh 2.25 Million.


Appearing before Chief Magistrate Bernard Ochoi, the two suspects denied the charges and were released on Ksh 500,000 bond with an alternative cash bail of Sh 200,000.
