Man Sentenced To 13 Years In Prison For Defiling Stepdaughter

 A court in Nanyuki, Laikipia County, has sentenced a middle-aged man to 13 years in prison for defiling his stepdaughter, who is 13 years old.

According to the ODPP, the prosecution called five witnesses to testify that the accused defiled his stepdaughter.


The court heard that between June and September 2023, the accused drugged the victim with an unknown substance before committing the heinous act.


In his ruling, Justice Ben Mararo stated that the prosecution had proven their case beyond a reasonable doubt, finding the accused guilty as charged.
