CS Kindiki Launches Nation Wide Crackdown on Traffic offenders and Road Unworthy Vehicles

Speaking during the Kisumu West Deputy County Commissioner's Complex's official opening, CS Kithure Kindiki ordered all security agencies to work together to launch a national campaign against traffic offenders and to impound any vehicles deemed unfit for use on the road, which partially contributes to tragedies and carnage.

This is a reaction to the recent spike in deadly car crashes, which has led the government to decide to tighten traffic control regulations in an effort to prevent more deaths.

No driver, pedestrian, or even cyclist will be spared under the operation, which will be led by the National Police Service's Traffic Department and the National Transport and Safety Authority.

Corrupt, inept, and careless law enforcement officials will also be brought to light.
