30-Year-Old Man Arrested For Allegedly Killing Nephew After Drinking Spree In Siaya

 

A 30-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of his nephew at the South Sakwa location in Bondo, Siaya County.

The suspect, Vincent Otieno Onyango, is suspected of murdering Leonard Ouma Agutu following an argument during a drinking spree.


According to Siaya County Police Commander Cleti Kimaiyo, the suspect was apprehended near a gold mining site in Gombe village.


He stated that Otieno, the main suspect in Leonard's murder, is believed to have ambushed and attacked the victim on his way home.

This comes after the duo had a heated argument while out drinking on the same night.

The suspect is scheduled to be arraigned at Bondo Law Courts on Thursday, as the investigation continues.
