Police are looking for suspects who fled after their vehicle, which contained Sh3 million worth of bhang, was involved in an accident in Jomvu.
The police said the vehicle was carrying 119 kilogrammes of bhang.
Lydia Wanjiru, the Jomvu sub-county police boss, said the vehicle was towed to the anti-narcotics headquarters.
“We will search for the culprits, and they shall be brought to book. This serves as a warning to drug barons in the county that we are onto you,” County Police Commander Abdi Nur said.
Sources indicate that the vehicle had been hired.
