The death toll from the Mathare River floods in Nairobi County has risen to 13, with three more bodies discovered on Thursday morning.
The three consisted of two men and a teenage girl.
According to Starahe police boss Fred Abuga, a joint search operation spearheaded by the Nairobi County Government and the Kenya Red Cross is still underway.
Ten bodies were recovered from the river on Wednesday, following heavy rains in Nairobi on Tuesday evening.
Abuga at the time said eight people were unaccounted for.
On Tuesday night, heavy rainfall caused flash floods in Mukuru, Mathare, Huruma, Ruaraka, Baba Dogo, Bosnia, Umoja 3, Choka, Njiru, Ruai, Utawala, Githurai, Kahawa, Eastern Bypass, Kinoo, Kijabe, Limuru, Ruiru, Graceland, Joska, Kaswito, Kicheko, Mangili, Kenyatta Road, Juja, Kitengela, and Magadi.
