Pastor Dorcas Rigathi has issued a stern warning to the country's illicit brew traders, stating that she will not back down in the fight against drug abuse until all of the perpetrators are apprehended.
Pastor Dorcas, speaking to Citizen TV on Thursday morning, stated that she will continue to stand her ground and will not be intimidated into silence in the fight against illicit brew.
She argued that if the vice is not vigorously combated, even the government will fail because its development programmes will not benefit a society already rife with drug abuse.
“Kuna haki lazima izingatiwe...hizi zingine zinaitwa second generation sijui...lazima hizo biashara ziachwe...Kwa hivyo mimi siogopi!” She said.
Pastor Dorcas went ahead to single out an illicit drug she said turns users into “zombies,” intimating that the dealer behind it – if found – will face the full wrath of the law.
Hiyo inanikasirisha, I wish I could just get the person who is doing it...” she said.
She also elaborated on the role she has taken up on uplifting the boy child, noting that many young men are losing their lives to alcohol and drug abuse, thereby leaving behind dismantled families.
