Police are looking for a 23-year-old man in Ematiha village, Navakholo constituency, Kakamega County, after residents reported him engaging in bizarre activities with their domestic animals.
Angry residents have accused the man of bestiality, claiming that he cuts off the animals' tails during the act for unknown reasons.
According to locals, the suspect usually commits his barbaric acts at night. They also claim that in some cases, he slaughters the animals.
The residents accuse the local police of being reluctant to act, despite having filed several complaints against the suspect.
The suspect has since fled into hiding.
