Chief Justice Martha Koome today presided over the swearing-in of the chairperson and members of the Tribunal appointed to consider four petitions for the removal of Environment and Land Court Judge Mohammed Noor Kullow from office.
The ceremony was held at the Supreme Court building.
President William Ruto appointed Appellate Judge Patrick Kiage as chairman of the Tribunal through a Gazzete notice dated March 8.
Other gazetted members are Justice Margaret Njoki Mwangi, Justice Anthony Charo Mrima, Jinaro Kipkemoi, Wanjiru Mwariri, Rukia Abdinasir Mohamed and Charles Mulila.
Ruto suspended the judge following a recommendation from the Judicial Service Commission.
