The bodies of Kenyatta University students who died in a road accident in Maungu, Voi, on Monday will be transferred to the Kenyatta University Teaching and Referral Hospital (KUTRH) mortuary.
Kenyatta University Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof. Paul Wainaina visited the Moi County Referral Hospital in Voi on Tuesday morning, where the bodies had been preserved.
The vice chancellor paid a visit to the injured students being treated in the hospital.
On Monday, a university bus and a truck collided in Maungu. The students and other staff members aboard the bus were on their way to Mombasa for an academic trip.
So far, eleven people have been confirmed dead, 21 seriously injured, and four with minor injuries.
